ACreate your account, tap ‘Offer a Ride’, enter your route and travel date, set your price per seat, and publish. Passengers heading your way will find your listing and send a booking request. You confirm, they pay, and you hit the road together.
AYou do. As a driver, you set the price per seat based on the distance. HeyMate provides a suggested fair range to help you price it right — covering your fuel and costs without overcharging passengers.
APayment is processed securely through the app. Once the trip is complete, your earnings (minus HeyMate’s small commission) are transferred to your nominated account within a few business days.
AAll users go through an identity verification process before they can book or offer rides. Drivers must provide a valid Australian driver’s licence and consent to a background check.
AYour safety comes first. Share your trip details — route and driver info — with a trusted contact in real-time. If something feels wrong, report it directly through the app and our support team will respond promptly
AAfter every trip, drivers and passengers rate each other. This keeps the community accountable and helps everyone make informed decisions before they travel together.
APayments are made securely through the app — no cash needed. The fare is agreed upfront so there are no surprises.

ADownloading and registering on HeyMate is completely free. HeyMate takes a small commission from each completed trip — that’s how we keep the lights on.
